I ran a successful nail salon I loved—fully booked and deeply connected to my clients. But I was raising a family, stretched thin, and didn’t know how to grow without breaking something. I couldn’t give myself permission to change… so I sold the business just to find some relief.

What followed was a long stretch in back-office roles—bookkeeping, operations, management—where I learned structure, systems, and strategy. But deep down, I kept hearing the same whisper: You’re meant to do something that matters.

That whisper became a roar when I hit my own wall of burnout and fear.
The real shift came when I discovered what Imposter Syndrome really was—and why my inner critic had held so much power for so long. That insight cracked something open. I realized: I can choose. The rules I’ve been living by aren’t mine.

From that moment on, I knew I’d never go back.
